Guide English

Hi hello and what's up? You want to organize an event with us? That's nice! To simplify the process a bit we have this form. We would like to know more about your ideas and what we need. Under this paragraph are our Guidelines. Please read them at your leisure

◎ We organise events together. At least one person from our team (VA) is involved and responsible for the event.

◎ Please discuss with the responsible person from the team (VA) when you will meet to set everything up and prepare the event.

◎ Closing down and cleaning up are also part of the event. Some steps have to be done immediatly after the event (sweeping the pavement, removing food and rubbish from the place). Also, talk to the VA about whether you will clean up immediately after the event or the next day.

◎ There will be a shift plan for the night which will be circulated before the event (mainly door/entry and bar shifts should be filled up -possibly before the event)

◎ Loud/live music (especially with drums) must be over by midnight, after which music continues quieter.

◎ Music can be heard until 2 a.m., then the event will end, and the place will be closed - at the latest.

◎ In consideration of the neighborhood, we may have to turn the music down. This will be decided by the responsible person from us.

◎ Entry is always on a donation basis. People who have no or little money should still be able to participate in the event. The entrance fee is therefore always given as "0-∞", whereby for orientation between the 0 and the infinity also a Donation recommendation can be set.

◎ Events in the place are not for profit. Income generated by donations are only used to cover running costs. No one can or should make a profit with an event.

◎ Drinks at the bar are also given out for free donation. It should be communicated that the room is financed by the donation.

◎ The store is basically smoke-free. We have a smoking room. Please help us make sure people use it or go outside to smoke.

◎ The art displays in the windows may not be altered or touched during the event.

◎ Please discuss with us if your event or performance / lyrics of the artists contain politically or morally debatable elements. We want to promote discussion and exchange with our space, but would reserve the power to decide who and what gets a stage in our space.

◎ Specifically, we do not tolerate discrimination, abuse, exclusion, and offensive behavior based on gender, ethnicity, origin, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic class, disability, or age. We speak out against sexism, racism, colorism, homophobia, bi-, inter- and transphobia or hostility, Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, Fascism, Ageism, Ableism, and other and/or intersectional forms of discrimination.

◎ No national flags should be shown/displayed.

◎ Unfortunately, the space, especially access to the bar, smoking room, and restrooms is not barrier-free. Let's talk about how we can make it possible to participate in an event anyway, if necessary.

◎ Our name should be not on the flyers, lets talk about it before you release it.

◎ We are not service providers and do everything on a voluntary basis. None of us are paid. We organize events together because we enjoy it and find spaces like ours important.
